“I stress … the deep need each woman has to study the scriptures. We want our homes to be blessed with sister scriptorians—whether you are single or married, young or old, widowed or living in a family. After all, who has any greater need to ‘treasure up’ the truths of the gospel (on which they may call in their moments of need) than do women and mothers who do so much nurturing and teaching?”

11 RANDOM things about ME!
1. I love the color purple. Rob hates it so there isn’t any purple to be seen! Except for a few shirts…but that’s it!

2. I desperately want to learn how to play the piano. My Grandma Sjoberg started teaching me when I was little but then we moved so I never really learned anything. I keep telling Rob that I am going to take lessons….I just need to do it!

3. I can count on one hand how many jobs I have had. I guess you can say I am the type of employee that is dedicated and I was just lucky to find jobs that I enjoyed staying at. In high school I worked a lot and my friends would always tell me how my work ethic was crazy for my age…..they would ditch work to play and I would go to work…sad! I regret now working so much but then again, high school was a little lame so it’s ok! ha ha.
.
4. My hair drives me crazy…a lot of the time! One of my first photo classes had us do a self portrait and I did a series on explaining this theory. Curly hair makes me feel crazy sometimes….it is all over the place and really can’t be managed or styled…it does what it wants! But when my hair is straight it makes me feel more calm and collected. I know, this is crazy….but it’s true.
.
5. Since being married I have become more dependent…on Rob! ha ha. I’ve always been very independent but now I just let him take care of things…like the bills for example. He just does it all and I let him. I know I should know how to do them just in case I ever have to but when I tell him that he just tells me that everything is on autopay…that doesn't help me!!
.
6. Since my Dad has ALWAYS been a runner we used to always go with him to his races! There were many times that I would go by myself….sit in the car alone until he was close to finishing and then cheer him on as he ran across the finish line! Those are some of my favorite memories!

7. I knew Rob’s Mom for the last year and a half of her life. I feel very blessed to have known her….she was so kind and loving towards me and I will always be grateful for that.

8. I love to travel! Or maybe I just love vacationing because you get to go away from your house and do nothing but have fun and relax!
.
9. I love the beach but don’t really like getting into the ocean…it scares me that I might be pulled under or a creature might get me!
.
10. I would love to cook like the pro’s do….I think culinary school would be amazing! That is why I love the show Top Chef…I am very envious of their mad cooking skills!
.
11. I've always felt it was important to have a good career. I wanted to be the CEO of some big company and thought it would make me 'feel' successful and that "only" being a Mom and having a family would not give me that feeling. Going off to college made me realize that yes, I do wan an education but more importantly I want to be able to raise my children and be a good Mom.
