“I stress … the deep need each woman has to study the scriptures. We want our homes to be blessed with sister scriptorians—whether you are single or married, young or old, widowed or living in a family. After all, who has any greater need to ‘treasure up’ the truths of the gospel (on which they may call in their moments of need) than do women and mothers who do so much nurturing and teaching?”

October Provident Living Goal

Create a list of at least 30 items that your family eats.
...We will be using this list in subsequent months, so if you can only come up with 30 you will be repeating those 30 meals 3 times.
If you come up with less than 30 you will repeat those meals more than 3 times.
And if you can come up with more than 30 meals you'll be eating those meals less than 3 times over a 3 month period.

Here are a few pointers on choosing menu items for your family.
#1 - My family will actually eat this (even in times of stress picky eaters will be picky eaters, so do your best to plan meals that your family members will eat.)
#2 - We will be rotating these meals through our regular meal plans, so don't worry so much about will the grocery items store for 30 years on my shelves.
#3 - These meals are to be the meals you are currently eating - they can include frozen foods, canned items, etc. Obviously you wouldn't be able to keep fresh veggies and fruits available for 90 days, but you can keep the canned and frozen versions of those items on hand.

Get this list written or typed up - we will be using this list over the next few months.

Also, get another family member stocked on water if you haven't already and if it is in the budget!
